Back and to the Left

I am and will always be a Letterman fan. Though now I guess if I was forced I'd watch Conan O'Brien, but it's basically the same. O'Brien has stated many many times that basically he's doing his best Letterman impersonation and that Letterman was his biggest influence. In fact Jon Stewart has stated several times too that Letterman's style and comedy was an influence on him. True family, health, age, and politics has gotten to him but as the second longest running late night talk show host ever his record stands for itself. I will not bash Leno, but I will just say I don't like him or his style. Letterman wasn't afraid to not kiss the ass of the guest, make a joke he liked over what the people might like, and just make jokes at the expensive of others. Fearless, fresh, acerbic, and unpredictable. That's the Letterman way.
